WRAPPING "ARMS" OF LOVE AROUND CHILDREN - KYRGYZSTAN UPDATE FOR DAYSPRING

DAYSPRING - A LAMPLIGHTER EVENING

AKA SLUMBER PARTY
We decided to have a slumber party with the Dayspring girls...so 10 little girls joined us for the night along with one of the Parkside Christian Church team members.  Other team members joined us for part of the evening.

Oh what a night for "feeding" into their little lives.  The Parkside team brought blanket fleece and taught the girls how to make a fleece blanket.  Each little girl had their own blanket to keep - what a wonderful reminder of this team and their care and concern for their well-being.

Hard at work making their blankets.

Kristina's blanket - she was very proud of her work.

Besides games, Blair (from Parkside) gave the girls some TLC - and each little girl got her nails done, hair done, etc.  It was a true little beauty night - thanks to Blair!

But time to sleep - came and we all piled down on the floors, chairs with new blankets to sleep.  (Yes, Ruby too!....in the middle.)  Zukrah and Blair also joined us for the sleep over!  Two on the sofa, one on the chair and 9 on the floor!  The sleep seemed to really come as I told the bed-time story and Zukrah translated.  Hmmmm, perhaps the little girl living in the woods with her grandmother was just a little too boring!

Michelle and her tenter heart - just enjoying the success Knesia had with her blanket!

Blair who has the most amazing way with little children! And Yulia enjoying that cool i-phone!

The Parkside success with the blankets - 10 in all!

THANK YOU PARKSIDE TEAM FOR LOVING OUR CHILDREN!
