WE ARE SAYING NO TOO MANY TIMES - NO HURTS SO MUCH

"HE IS 8 YEARS OLD - DROPPED OFF BY AN AUNT WHO DOES NOT WANT HIM, PLEASE TAKE HIM INTO DAYSPRING.  HE IS A LOVING LITTLE BOY"

You see the pilot is working - they (the local authorities) understand the value of children living with a family.  Yet, Dayspring is FULL - we have 10 children.  We want to open Morning Star for boys, but we do  not have the funds at this time.  We certainly have the boys.  To say no, broke our hearts.  Where will he go, who will love him.  Will there be a father to show him how to become a man?  Will there be a loving mother to hug him and tell him bed time stories?

Oh the pain of saying no.  It hurts so much.

So what is the issue - if the pilot is working?  We do not have a system here that finds families and can place children with families.  So, we must help them -

Today, I had the opportunity to talk to the person in charge of this - and next week we will meet with the mayor of the city.  Discussion - what can we do in the area of adoption and foster care.  There is legislation on the books to allow for foster homes - resource families.  Yet, they do not know how to go about creating this.  Maybe, just maybe we can help.  We certainly will do our best.

"Ask and you will receive...."  John 14:13,14....  We are asking - not for ourselves but for this little guy and so many like him.

WE NEED TO HEAR YES, YES, YES, YES.  WE HAVE A FAMILY FOR THIS LITTLE PERSON!
