BUILDING RELATIONSHIPS - SHARING RESOURCES

COAL, COMFORT AND CONNECTIONS
ALL IN HIS TIMING

COSTA DELIVERING COAL

PARTNERSHIP - AND SHARING WHERE THERE IS NEED!

We are very proud of our Kyrgyzstan team.  Once again, they are showing how important it is to reach out and partner with others who are working to help the needy in Kyrgyzstan.  Olga and Costa have developed a relationship with the Red Cross of Kyrgyzstan.

Recently we have had two major partnership activities with them.  The first one is this coal - it seems they got a full truck of coal sacks and asked if we would work with them to identify families that needed coal.  Together with Andrey and Katya - Costa and Olga, they identified families and helped int he delivery of coal - all from the Red Cross of Kyrgyzstan.  Anya's family, a family across the street from Dayspring, and a family they are all working with that has five children they are trying hard to raise at home without losing them.  ILDC/LAMb and CBN Emmanuel/Ukraine working together with the Red Cross of Kyrgyzstan.  GREAT JOB TEAM!

AND THE SECOND PARTNERSHIP?

Red Cross contacted Olga and presented a very sad story about a young woman who lost her parents some time ago.  She worked hard to do the best she could to live and learn.  She continued with the help of her village and was able to attend school.  She wants to learn a trade - have a job.  Finding a place to live and learn became a nightmare for her.  We won't expose the entire story - but today she is living at Jeremiah House.

When she went to her classes (she is learning to sew) the instructor said,  "Ira you have been so sad, but the last several days you have been laughing and smiling.  What has happened?"  To which Ira said,  "Everything had been taken from me - everything.  And in one day, God gave it all back to me."  She then proceeded to tell the instructor where she was living, about the wonderful woman Gulnara is and how God is almighty and looks out for her and answered her prayer!

OUR BEAUTIFUL IRA

NOT MORE OF THE STORY...

Ira is definitely a candidate for our part 3 of Jeremiah Project.  Step 3 means we would purchase apartments and qualified and competent youth would live in them with another youth - "practicing" living interdependently.  All youth in STEP 3 will have mentors who look in on them daily.

We are heading off this weekend and when in Kyrgyzstan - we will start the journey of looking for our first apartment to purchase and set up as Jeremiah Steps - Apartment #`1.

NEXT PARTNERSHIP WITH RED CROSS?  HOW ABOUT COMPUTER TRAINING FOR THE DISABLED....YES, WE HAVE A PLAN!

OH HOW WE LOVE TO TELL THE STORY - OF JESUS AND HIS LOVE!
