PARTNERSHIP AND VISIONING TOGETHER FOR A WORLD WITHOUT ORPHANS

We were so honored to have two guests with us for the last couple of days - coming to us from Kazakhastan, Victoria Charbonneau and Beth Turnock, founders of James 127 Ranch - their
VISION FOR THE FUTURE

Both Victoria and Beth are working to move forward with a program to help youth graduating from the orphanages in Kazakhstan.  They journeyed to Kyrgyzstan to visit us in order to see the Jeremiah Project and share and compare strategies.  GREAT TIME and exciting future!

In addition, they picked up a couple of needed supplies:  our partner, Andy Stokes from GiveFirst Ministries gifted them and amazing camera, since Victoria is a photographer and this item will help her record and historize their journey in Kazakhstan.  And they also went home with a new i-pad we brought over for them to help since Victoria's new max crashed a couple of weeks ago.  She ordered this and was ecstatic to get back on line with her own equipment.

BUT THEY WORKED HERE TOO!

During their time here they worked - helping us purchase furniture for Dayspring, items for Jeremiah Project and of course some cleaning to get the kitchen ready at Jeremiah House.  We ended yesterday with a lovely spaghetti dinner at Dayspring, which we all pitched in together to cook.
GREAT VISIT WITH SOME AWESOME PEOPLE.

Dayspring was gifted the beginning of a  library this Christmas by a family from Canada.  Up to this time there were NO BOOKS at Dayspring and Costa and Olga really wanted the kids to have a chance to grow in their love of reading.  So books were purchased and now it is exciting to see the children reading and hearing about the nightly reading time where Costa and Olga are reading the Chronicles of Narnia to the children and the children are loving this time!

HOWEVER

NEW FURNITURE DELIVERED
TO DAYSPRING LIBRARY ROOM

We did not have furniture in the library...just a rug, a big room and a small seat.  So, with donated funds, we were able to furnish the library with three pieces of furniture for the children to enjoy as they read and spend time in this large comfy room.

JEREMIAH DROP IN CENTER READY TO GO

We have furniture, an office here, kitchen is almost ready - Vlady is installing a washing machine (know you need that Jayne!!!!!) yesterday and we just have beds to arrive and the drop-in-center will be opened for business.

We will be dedicating the drop-in-center in memory of a young man:

Matthew Shelton - stay tuned for the dedication post before we leave from here.

At Jeremiah House - kitchen is ready - stove in, refrigerator in, cupboards full of dishes, pans and needed items.  Here Victoria and Beth stand back and observe the completed job - that they did to get this kitchen ready.  OUR DREAM is to soon go to Kazakhstan and help them do the same thing at James 127 Ranch!

AND THE MOVEMENT CONTINUES..

TUESDAY WE ARE MEETING WITH A MAN FROM BISHKEK WHO WANTS TO SEE JEREMIAH PROJECT - POTENTIALLY TO REPLICATE THERE.

WEDNESDAY WE ARE MEETING WITH ANOTHER WOMAN FROM OUTSIDE OF BISHKEK WHO WANTS TO SEE JEREMIAH PROJECT TO POTENTIALLY REPLICATE IN HER WORK.
