DAY IS DONE
GONE THE SUN
HERE COMES
THE SNOW – ONCE AGAIN
WHERE IS
SPRING?
In our
HEARTS!!!!!
Ps. 9:1,2 “I
will praise you, oh Lord, with my whole heart; I will tell of all your marvelous
works. I will be glad and rejoice in
you; I will sing praise to your name, oh most High.”
Celebrating Mom's 85th birthday - wonderful day just being quiet and thankful! |
As we begin to plan for the next weeks
ahead, our hearts leap with joy. This
week we will purchase the final needed items to start the sewing project with
mom. She has all kinds of plans for
those wanting to learn…and it seems not just the BOYS and GIRLS at Jeremiah,
but Gulnara (mom) too!
But it does not stop there – Dayspring children want to learn too and of course that is Olga (mom) as well! We are very thrilled with
the interest. Our plan is simple to
start:
1. They
all learn the basics of the machine (Learning a skill)
2. Then
simple seams – which will end up with sheets and pillow cases for the men at
the Tokmoksky Disabled Home. (Learning to serve!)
3. Once
this is accomplished the youth will have the opportunity to sew something for themselves
– maybe a decorative pillow case. (Learning to be self-sufficient)
4. Then
we will bring (hire) Zamir from the men’s disabled home in Iskra to teach how
to make the national crafts which they can give away or sell! See the
picture with the team as they were gifted these beautiful national pads. (Learning to manage a little business)

IN ACTION!!!!
