MORE PRAYER FOR KYRGYZSTAN

From Olga - our Mom and Residential Director.....
On the 30th of August we did a meeting at our place with our Dayspring kids and Jeremiah House kids. Tanya from Temple of God church is a missionary in Africa (Kenya) for 2 years now. We invited her to share with us, about the work she does, she also works with kids there, and they have kind of a foster home in Kenya with 8 kids living there. One of my purposes was for our kids to see the conditions other people have in life.

We also decided with Tanya that we will do skype calls, to communicate with her and her kids in Africa (kind of an exchange between our kids and hers).

August the 31st we went to Sosnovka village. Remember I wrote you about this family, they have 23 foster children!!!

They are beautiful family, and every August 31 (The independence day in KG) they do prayer and worship meeting on their territory. It was a wonderful day, we prayed for the unity of different nations in KG, at one point -  all the people from different nationalities were called to the stage to pray in their local language for KG, it was powerful.

We had Kyrgyz person, and person from States, person from Kazahstan and from Korea, Costa was praying Ukrainian, and there was one guy praying Jewish, it was awsome.

After worshiping and praying we were able to communicate, so drinking tea we met a lady (VENERA) from Bishkek, she is a foster mom, has 16 children, and doing it all by herself, she has lots of connections with journalists, and on television, and lots of other good contacts, and she is willing to introduce us to them. I think it is amazing how God is brining together all of us.

Thinking about spring conference "KG Without Orphans"  We also met pastor Zhenia and his wife from Karabalta church, and we were invited to come to a night prayer in SOUTH CHURCH in Bishkek, to pray for our work and vision, and we think we will go.

This family in Sosnovka they want training for foster and adoptive parents, and on TRAUMA, they said they will provide logging and people (invite adoptive parents and people from social services), Venera (foster mom from Bishkek) also said she would like to have training and she would gather a team.

September 1st we went with Vlady and his wife doctor Tatiana to the mountains, where he has his bee farm, spent nice time together picking berries, cooking pilov, and kids were runnung in the mountains)

Today September the 3rd, we all went to school.

So our five Dayspring girls went to school # 6, it is really close to our house, they will all study in 2nd shift, so their school day will beging at 12:30.  All of them shared their impression about the school and teachers, and the impressions were not bad)
They liked their teachers and classmates, and let's see how ot goes)

In Jeremiah House - good news for our older youth!:
- Ira had her first day in her school, studying to become a primary school teacher
- Vicka had her first day in school # 35 to become a cook
- Kumushay, Anya and Dzhanybeck went to school # 2
- Asis went to finish his his 11th grade in school # 1
- Slavik will go to technucal college # 23 next week to study for auto mechanic

This is it, we have quite an intense time here, I've learned to bake pies like Gulnara)))

A CAMP WHERE HOPE IS EVERYWHERE AND BEGINNINGS FOR CHANGE ARE REAL

CHILDREN AT CAMP -

SHARING, PRAYING, AND LEARNING

WE RECEIVED THIS EMAIL FROM OLGA -

OUR

 RESIDENTIAL DIRECTOR

IN KYRGYZSTAN ALL ABOUT THE SUMMER

CAMP.....

THANK YOU SPONSORS!!!!!!

Hello,

We came back home very happy and at the same time very exhausted!!!

I thank every person who made it possible for our children to have this wonderful time at Issyk-Kul lake camp!
We went as a team with Andrey and Katya who decided to do this camp for the children Katya works with in the park every Saturday, most of them are from the families who have difficulties.

They invited our kids to go too and asked us to help them with creating a program and helping make this program work best for kids. We also had four young people from the church who went with us as leaders for kids, each of them had a task and a team of kids to work with, including our own Ira who lives with at Jeremiah House and works with us at Dayspring and in the Life Skill program at Red River.

We really had wonderful time, having fun, playing a lot of games, swimming in the lake, going to the mountains, and having little meetings where we were worshiping with the kids all together, listening to the word of God and having more fun with kids.

I really believe it was a time of building the relationships not only with kids but with young people who went with us. We saw changes in children at the end of this wonderful week in their attitude to each other, to us and to God.

We understand that one week is not a lot of time to change a lot, but it is a good time to start something new in their hearts, and we believe in bigger changes in the lives of these kids yet to come!!!

The name of our camp team was ISLA De ESPERANZA (the island of hope)  As our team of kids was a part of a bigger movement Young Life camp, we had to be in their topic of camp “The pirates of the Caribbean’.…

For most of the kids it was the first time in their life that they saw the Issyk-Kul lake, and went to the mountains! So thank everyone and God one more time, I believe that this camp created a lot of good memories for all the kids – including our Dayspring kids to remember!

All the days of the camp we were looking for treasures actually, these were rings that one could find everywhere, at the end the person who had the biggest amount of rings won a price! Mark had 64 rings more then others, and he won a backpack!!!

And we finished our camp with prayer and light…Each child had a candle, we went to the beach at night, we had this light in this darkness and we saw how it made everything not so dark anymore, saying that God is a light inside every one of us, and if we keep this light no matter how dark it is around, with God we will be able to see the way!!! So kids prayed, that God would help them to keep His light in their hearts!

We thank all the people who made it possible for all of us to go, and share Gods love with these precious children in this wonderful picturesque place!!!

EXPANDING VISION BY EQUIPPING OTHERS...TRAINING OF TRAINERS IN THE AREA OF TRAUMA

TRAINING OF TRAINERS

We have the honor to partner with the Christian Alliance for Orphans and offer this training of trainers.

To fully follow our mission for LAMb International, we believe it is important to develop workers in the field to be able to conduct training on critical topics which help families, children and those vulnerable persons.

LAMb International is a ministry called to equip and activate.

Our team of leaders are ministry leaders who have years and years of experience in developing and equipping others for the purpose of ministry.

WOUNDED CHILDREN HOPE FOR HEALING SERIES - GLOBAL OPPORTUNITY!

STARTING FEBRUARY, 2014

Dr. David Schooler, Jayne Schooler along with Lynn and Ruby Johnston will be offering this series over the next year - This series will expand the capacity of your ministry by developing your trainers or ministry leaders to be able to deliver the training in the country in which you work.  This gives global potential.

You will be given full instruction to carry out the training; a full trainer guide with power points and handouts which have been fully developed.  You will then be able to use these materials to conduct your own training and consultation with those you serve.

BLESSINGS FOR LITTLE ONES IN KYRGYZSTAN

DELIVERY OF BLANKETS - 7:15 AM THIS MORNING

STACKING THE STORAGE LOCKER - GETTING READY FOR DELIVERY WITH TEAMS

TOSS IT IN THERE LYNN!!!  ALMOST DONE!

FOUR ORPHANAGES COVERED!!!!
NOW TO GET THEM TO KYRGYZSTAN!!!!

BLESSING THE LITTLE ONES
“We must never neglect the orphans…”

Each time we enter an orphanage, or visit the elderly, spend time with the disabled, we are reminded of so many blessings we have each and every day.

We are challenged to consider how we can bless each of those whom we visit who have experienced less, living in difficult situations and have often lost hope and dignity.

Blessings come in many different ways.  Through gifts, services, prayers, hugs, and most of all from the hope that is offered and brought when you return and return and return.  A message is offered.

We are fortunate to be partners with so many who have this passion and are working tirelessly to make a difference:  Ed Dickson, Greg Montella, our team members on the ground in Ukraine and in Kyrgyzstan, Steve Hill, Jayne and David Schooler, Glen Pitts, Jenna Dollin, the Wrights, and so many others.

There is never one initiative that does it all – it is like the tree, we need the roots (you our supporters!!!!) we need the trunk (the solid call and the Word of God) and we need all the branches – each of the above doing what they have been called to do.

TODAY we were blessed from one of our Canadian partners – Jabez Blanket Ministry.  They delivered beautiful hand made blankets (afghans) and teddy bears for over 200 children in Kyrgyzstan.  We have a shipment for four different locations.  Two large orphanages, one small orphanage and one baby orphanage.  We will take these over one team at a time….

The picture of the children with blankets if an old one from a Boy’s Rehabilitation Center in Ukraine – where we delivered blankets several years ago.  When we visit different places, we often see blankets that have been given to a child.  Although we see them with a blanket, it is a sober reminder they are still without family…as they are still in the facility, the orphanage!

We won’t quit.  We believe and we will honor our calling to  move out:

Stop for the One in Front of US!!!
Look though the Eyes of God!!!
Listen to the Voice of the Holy Spirit for Direction!!!

And then MOVE.

JOIN US AND MOVE WITH US:  SPONSOR, SUPPORT, PRAY, JOIN A TEAM, OR GO TO YOUR LOCAL CAS/SOCIAL SERVICES AND ASK WHAT YOU MIGHT DO FOR THE CHILDREN WHO NEED HOMES…

WE TOGETHER CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE, FOR A

WORLD WITHOUT ORPHANS
