THE ORPHANAGE?  ABODE OF PEACE.

Let's make this a Christmas of all times.  As we are working with this orphanage - we will be returning there in the next few weeks.

So we are asking you?  HELP

They eat rice three times a day - yep that is it.  Some little added stuff, like dal for lunch, pepper for dinner.  But rice.

We want to make this Christmas dinner special and we want to bless each child at Abode of Peace.  We want to tell them that we have come to help - to encourage them - to support their leadership in finding families.  AND we want the leadership to know and see that what they are doing is helping and is truly encouraging.  We want to demonstrate the love of Christ, by helping then know we understand their struggles of meeting the daily needs of these 170 children.

They all live in one room, study in the same room, play in the same room, sleep in the same room and eat in the same room.  170 beautiful little children who have been rescued from the streets of India.  And the room - oh there are not five different rooms - NO IT IS ONE ROOM!

Yet, they know the love of Jesus, the love of caring team members who serve them.  In fact 2/3 of their staff team are themselves rescued from the streets and are disabled.  No leg, no arm, CP, and on and on.

They live the truth at Abode of Peace - they serve!
